According
to Webster’s, the word season means a time
characterized by a particular circumstance or feature. That is, there is
something particular about a season, something unique. Something extraordinary.
Something only people who live in the prophetic can access. Something only
people who can decipher the mystery of that season can encounter. The hallmark
of engaging any season is revelation.
From
Isaac Newton to Archimedes, Bill Gates to Steve Jobs, all the “brilliant” minds
to grace this earth, one thing was characteristic; they saw their season and
engaged it. The problem nowadays is that we focus on our comfort instead of
making a deliberate attempt to engage what is in our season. We live in the now
and not in the how. Ignoring the how, we have become to familiar with the
status quo, too relaxed to POSITION ourselves in this season so that we can
encounter the blessings in it. Yea POSITION. You think lying down in a bed all
day, or going to school to just get those grades, or working that 9 to 5
everyday is positioning. THINK AGAIN!!! And when you are thinking, think
outside the box.
Positioning is a term that involves you searching out the
mysteries of the season you are in and placing yourself in the right place.
It’s not enough knowing the mysteries of a season. Being at the right place to
encounter it, is the only way to receive the blessing locked into each season.
So
check yourself, yea that 9 to 5 may be a step towards the potential of that
season but the understanding that there is more out there waiting to be
engaged, waiting to be encountered and that if you can position yourself in the
right place, you can tap the endless possibilities each season offers.
